Obon, Teddington
The project involves designing a new sushi & Korean grill restaurant on Teddington High Street, which will become the second branch of Obon following the Kingston location.
The premises previously operated as a small bakery with a very limited service floor.
Our solution was to open the rear wall to create an open kitchen, separated by a retractable semi-translucent screen.
At the heart of the space is the sushi counter, which functions as both the operational hub of the kitchen and a key design feature.

For the seating areas, we selected two distinct wall textures, each uniquely hand-plastered to introduce subtle character and warmth throughout the interior.
A feature mirror wall enhances the sense of depth and creates an infinite reflection of the feature pendant lights, adding a striking visual dimension to the space.
